Oh, the irony!
A few years ago a friend took me to a marketing agency with swanky offices on the side of a river. Impressive. They were pitching him on a raft of work, and my friend asked me to go along to give him my input. During the meeting, my friend excused himself for the bathroom. While he was away, the 'marketing executives' (agency directors) grilled me on who I was and what I was doing there.
They then told me they really really needed to win my friend's work, because they were struggling to find new clients.
To say I was stunned is an understatement!
A really good marketing agency — who practice what they preach — should be
absolutely overwhelmed with work.
With the above in mind, it is with both regret and happiness that I report we can't take on any more clients... we're too busy!
Thanks anyway.
